Approaching Rainy Pass

Welcome Iditarod Mushers and guests!

The Iditarod Official Finishers' Club (IOFC) is the "players union" of mushers who compete in Alaska's 1,049-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race.

The IOFC is incorporated by the State of Alaska, and is an entirely separate entity from the Iditarod Trail Committee, which organizes the Iditarod race.  Nonetheless, the IOFC works closely with the Board of Directors of the Iditarod Trail Committee to promote the Iditarod and ensure the race remains the world's premiere sled dog event with an emphasis on excellent care of our canine athletes and respect for Alaska's cultural heritage and natural beauty.

This website is organized into two sections:

  • a public area with information about the IOFC and the IOFC's current projects
  • a members' area accessible to mushers who have successfully completed the Iditarod.  Since the IOFC is composed of members from around the world, this website serves as a virtual "meeting room" where members can stay up to date on club business and participate in discussions with other members.

If you are an IOFC member and having trouble logging in, please contact Jim Gallea or Bill Borden
